What's included in "instances"?
An instance refers to a SQL Server installation — whether standalone,
clustered, or an Always On Availability Group primary replica.
Secondary replicas and test/dev instances are counted separately.
Can I change tiers?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade with 30 days notice.
We'll pro-rate any changes to ensure fair billing.
What about emergency support?
